How EU AI Act Governance Register works in Odoo: menus, scheduled task and records

EU AI Act Governance Register adds the Settings › AI Governance menu to Odoo, an active scheduled task called Check Deadline Alerts that runs every day, and a set of models for recording AI systems, assessments, deadlines, incidents and training. Which menu does EU AI Act Governance Register add?

The module registers one menu path: Settings › AI Governance. It sits under Odoo's settings, so that is where you look for it once it is installed. The records it stores are covered in the next section.

What do you see when you open the AI systems list?

Which Odoo versions is it published for, and what does it cost?

It is published on Odoo Apps for 17.0, 18.0 and 19.0 (listings checked on 03-11-2026). According to each version's listing, it costs €49 excluding VAT in all three, as a one-off payment per version. What does a system assessment look like?

In the Assessment list in the screenshot, with demo data, there are five rows for the same system, Odoo AI Assistant - Chatbot, all with Mitchell Admin as assessor and with the checkboxes in the prohibited practices columns left unticked. The module has an AI Risk Assessment model and, separately, others for the Fundamental Rights Impact Assessment, the Compliance Review and the AI Framework Mapping.

What is the catalogue and how is it filled in?

The screenshot shows a list called Catalog, with the New button and search, and three AI features with the columns Feature Name, Description and Feature Type. The module includes an AI Onboarding Catalog model and two import wizards: Onboarding Catalog Import Wizard and AI Systems Bulk Import Wizard.

Which scheduled tasks run?

One: Check Deadline Alerts. It comes active and runs every day.

Which screens does the animated walkthrough show?

It goes through four lists in this order: AI Systems with the demo system, Assessment with its five assessments, Catalog with three AI features, and a list titled Deadline with five rows of risk levels, their legal date, the provisional checkbox ticked and a description of each AI Act article.

Where do incidents, notices to affected people and training go?

Each has its own model: Serious AI Incident (Art 73) for incidents, Affected Person Notice for notices to affected people and AI Literacy Training Record for training records. There are also AI Transparency Duties, AI Log Register (Metadata), AI System Snapshot and AI System Document. The «Art 73» reference is part of the name the module gives the incidents model: treat it as the module's label, not as a legal reading.
