On Odoo 19 and 20, Advanced Shipping Carrier Integration brings DHL Express rates, labels and tracking into Odoo, according to its listing. What the module adds to your Odoo 19 or 20

Everything below describes the module published for Odoo 19 and 20. On Odoo 17 and 18, the module with the same name is a different product: its listing presents it as multi-carrier (more than 12 carriers, such as FedEx, UPS, DHL or Royal Mail), its code calls the carriers directly and it does not use FlexigoTech Cloud. If you are on 17 or 18, this walkthrough does not apply to you.

Which menus appear when you install Advanced Shipping Carrier Integration

The module adds three menu entries inside Shipping, split between Compliance and Reporting:

  • Shipping › Compliance › GDPR Requests
  • Shipping › Compliance › Intrastat Export
  • Shipping › Reporting › Record Carrier Invoice

The carrier's invoice is recorded from the last one.

Which carrier is it built for, and what should you read before buying

On Odoo 19 and 20, the Odoo Apps listing introduces it with the heading DHL Express rates, labels and tracking in Odoo. The same listing has a section titled Before you buy: this app uses a paid external service, so the app uses a paid external service, and a Privacy policy section. Read them on the Odoo Apps listing before you decide.

The module ships four scheduled actions, and all four are active once it is installed:

  • Update Shipment Tracking: every hour.
  • Reconcile Shipping Costs: every day.
  • Shipping: GDPR anonymization after the retention period: every day.
  • Shipping Carrier Health Check: every month.

What a shipment goes through in the module

How do you print labels for several shipments at once

From the shipments list, select the ones you want and open the Bulk Print Labels wizard. It shows the chosen shipments, a note about downloading as a single PDF or a ZIP, and the Download Labels and Cancel buttons.

How do you create a return for a delivered shipment

On the form of a shipment in the Delivered state, the Create Return dialog opens. It shows the original shipment, the carrier, the service type, the Email Customer checkbox and a field for return notes.

Where do you record the carrier's invoice

In Shipping › Reporting › Record Carrier Invoice. The dialog asks for the carrier, the month, the year and the total, has a button to upload the file, and the Record Invoice and Cancel buttons. The module also contains the flexigo_shipping.cost_reconciliation model (Monthly Cost Reconciliation), the daily Reconcile Shipping Costs action and the Carrier Cost Summary Report.

If any of these screens shows a warning, the module's error messages lists the literal text of each one and what to do.

Which Odoo versions is it available for, what does it cost and who can help you set it up

It is published on Odoo Apps for 17.0, 18.0, 19.0 and 20.0, at €9 per Odoo version, a one-off payment, excluding VAT; bear in mind that on 17 and 18 it is a different product. On Odoo 19 and 20 that payment is not the whole cost: the manifest says it needs a FlexigoTech Cloud subscription, whose Connector plan costs €49 a month or €490 a year excluding VAT.
