You're asked for ESG data out of the blue
A key customer, your bank or a procurement process suddenly demands sustainability indicators. It's not optional if you want to keep the relationship, yet you'd never reported any of it before.
More and more large customers, banks and investors ask their SME suppliers for sustainability data. EFRAG's VSME is the voluntary standard built to answer that, without the full weight of the ESRS. This free Odoo module (17, 18 and 19) captures all 20 ESG data points inside your ERP and generates the voluntary sustainability report in PDF and XBRL (EFRAG taxonomy), ready to review and hand to whoever asked for it.

Try the VSME module inside a real Odoo, no sign-up. User demo / flexigodemo.
Neither listed nor caught by the CSRD, plenty of SMEs suddenly get a sustainability questionnaire from a big customer or their bank, with no team and no framework to answer it in an orderly way.
A key customer, your bank or a procurement process suddenly demands sustainability indicators. It's not optional if you want to keep the relationship, yet you'd never reported any of it before.
Energy use sits in a supplier invoice, headcount lives in HR and your policies are buried in a PDF. Pulling the ESG data points together by hand every year is slow and hard to keep consistent.
Either you hire a sustainability consultancy that blows an SME budget, or you improvise a spreadsheet each customer reads differently. Neither one gives you a comparable, credible report.
It doesn't promise to certify or audit you. It covers all 20 EFRAG VSME disclosure groups, collects your ESG data inside the ERP and generates the voluntary sustainability report in PDF, XBRL and CSV.
Covers the complete Basic Module (B) and Comprehensive Module (C) of EFRAG's VSME, with guided entry for every data point, not a partial template.
Generates the period's report using EFRAG taxonomy v1.2.0 in XBRL, plus PDF and CSV, ready to review and hand to whoever requested it.
The setup wizard reuses the data you already keep in Odoo HR, payroll and accounting, instead of re-keying it by hand every reporting year.
Fills the ESG questionnaires from banks and supply-chain buyers straight from your data, and exports them as PDF, CSV or JSON.
Flags out-of-scope fields in inbound ESG requests and shows the cap notice under Directive (EU) 2026/470, protecting your SME from disproportionate demands.
Ships with the DEFRA and IEA emission-factor libraries so you can compute your GHG emissions without chasing external lookup tables.
Assign each disclosure group to an owner with a due date, and route the report through a review and approval flow before you export it.
Independent VSME records per legal entity, all inside Odoo, with a GDPR DSAR processor (Art. 15), an erasure wizard (Art. 17) and a full audit trail.
Four steps, all inside the Odoo you already run, with no separate platform to log into.
Create a VSME record for the company and year. The setup wizard pulls what it can from your Odoo HR, payroll and accounting so you start with data, not a blank form.
Work through B1-B11 and C1-C9 with guided entry. Use the preloaded DEFRA and IEA factors for emissions, and assign each group to an owner with a deadline.
Route the report through the approval workflow, then export it as PDF, XBRL (EFRAG taxonomy v1.2.0) or CSV, ready to hand to the customer, bank or investor who asked.
No subscription, no per-user fee, no hidden add-ons. Released under LGPL-3 with the full source code included, for Odoo 17, 18 and 19.
FlexigoTech is Flexibles y Accesorios Gobe, S.L., based in Barcelona. The module is built by a single developer, so when you have a question about VSME or the ESG report you talk straight to the person who wrote the code, not a salesperson or a first-line desk forwarding tickets.
It's a native Odoo module, with no external platform and no extra SaaS fee. We don't invent certifications or customer case studies: the tool collects your ESG data and assembles the voluntary sustainability report following EFRAG's VSME standard. It is not an audit and not an official filing; responsibility for the content stays with your company, and we tell you that before you install it, not after.
Sustainability reporting rarely comes alone. It usually shows up next to the need to bring compliance and company data together inside a single Odoo.
The VSME (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for non-listed SMEs) is a voluntary standard published by EFRAG so that small and medium-sized, non-listed companies can report their environmental, social and governance (ESG) information in a structured, comparable way, without the full weight of the ESRS standards that apply to large listed groups. It usually gets requested when a large customer, a bank or a procurement team asks an SME supplier for ESG data.
Yes: 0 EUR, one-time, no subscription. It's released under the LGPL-3 licence with the source code included, so there are no recurring fees and no per-user pricing. You can try it in the live demo and install it for free from the Odoo App Store.
Yes. The module runs on both Odoo Community and Enterprise, for versions 17, 18 and 19. It's a self-contained module: no external SaaS, no separate platform, and it reuses the standard HR and Accounting data you already keep in Odoo. If you run Community without those apps you can still enter the ESG data points manually.
No. VSME is a voluntary reporting framework, not a return you submit to a government authority. The module collects your ESG data inside Odoo and produces the structured report following the VSME modules so you can review it and hand it to whoever requested it (a customer, a bank, an investor). Responsibility for the content stays with your company.
Yes. VSME was designed precisely for SMEs that have to provide ESG data for the first time, usually because a customer or a bank asks for it. The module walks you through the standard's data points inside Odoo, so you don't start from a blank Excel template or pay a consultancy just to gather the basic information.
The question is whether you rebuild it by hand each time or leave it solved inside Odoo. Tell us who's asking and we'll tell you straight if the module fits you.
