A patchwork of state laws
CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA and more: each law grants different rights and sets its own deadlines. Keeping track from memory or in a manual spreadsheet does not scale as more states go live.
There is no single US privacy law, just a patchwork of state laws (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA and more), each with its own rights and response deadlines. Handling consumer requests with spreadsheets and scattered emails is a liability. This Odoo module brings every privacy request into one workflow: log by state, right type, requester verification, deadline tracking and a full auditable history for each request. Free, source included, on Odoo 17, 18 and 19.
Try the module inside a real Odoo 19, no sign-up. User demo / flexigodemo.
Every state passes its own law with its own consumer rights and response deadlines. If you process data from residents of several states, you get requests in every shape and still have to answer on time and prove it, without a team dedicated solely to this.
CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, CTDPA and more: each law grants different rights and sets its own deadlines. Keeping track from memory or in a manual spreadsheet does not scale as more states go live.
Every request has a response deadline, often around 45 days depending on the state. Without a process inside the system, it is easy for a request to sit forgotten in an inbox until you have already missed it.
If a regulator or consumer complains, you have to show what was requested, when, and how you responded. Scattered emails and spreadsheets do not give you that auditable record when you need it.
It does not promise to comply for you or answer requests on your behalf. It does the concrete, useful part: bring every US privacy request together, track deadlines and keep a trail for each one.
Log each request with its state of origin, so a single screen handles a request from California just as well as one from Virginia or Colorado.
Classify each request by the right exercised (access, deletion, correction, portability or opt-out of sale) and record the requester's verification status so you know identity was confirmed before acting.
Every request carries its response deadline, so your team can see which ones are due first and prioritize them, without a separate spreadsheet to babysit.
Move each request through clear stages from received to closed, so at any moment you can tell what is open, what is in progress and what is done, right from the Odoo list.
Keep the full history of each request inside Odoo: who opened it, which stage it moved through and how it was closed, so there is traceability if a complaint or audit comes.
It runs inside the Odoo you already use, on 17, 18 and 19, Community or Enterprise. No external SaaS, no extra login and no data leaving your own instance.
No subscription, no per-request fees, no catch. Download it once, own it, and run it on your own Odoo.
The module is free. You pay nothing to download it and nothing to keep using it. There are no recurring charges and no per-request billing.
You get the complete Odoo module source, so your own team or partner can read it, review it and adapt it to how you handle requests.
One module, three supported versions. Whether you are on Odoo 17, 18 or the latest 19, and on Community or Enterprise, it installs and runs.
Questions go straight to the developer who wrote the module, not a sales rep or a ticket queue. Ask before you install, we will tell you straight if it fits.
A consumer submits a privacy request. You log it in Odoo with the state it comes from and the right they are exercising, then record whether their identity is verified. The module sets the response deadline, you move the request through its stages until it is resolved, and every step stays on record. When the deadline nears, it is already visible in your list, not buried in an inbox.
It is a native Odoo module, with no external platform and no extra fee. We do not make up reviews or customer stories: the tool brings requests together, tracks their deadlines and keeps a trail. The decision on each response and the legal responsibility for compliance stay with you, and we say that before you install it, not after. Built and supported from Barcelona by the developer who wrote the code, not a sales team.
Privacy request management rarely comes alone. It usually shows up next to the need to organize compliance and data governance inside a single Odoo.
The US has no single federal privacy law. Instead there is a patchwork of state laws (California's CCPA/CPRA, Virginia's VCDPA, Colorado's CPA, Connecticut's CTDPA and many more) that give consumers the right to access, correct, delete and port their data, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. Any business that processes personal data of residents of those states can receive requests, and each state sets its own response deadlines and rules.
It centralizes every consumer privacy request (DSAR) in Odoo: it records which state it comes from, the type of right exercised (access, deletion, correction, portability or opt-out of sale), the requester's verification status, the applicable response deadline and the full history of the request. You get one workflow and an auditable record instead of spreadsheets and scattered inboxes.
No. The module organizes each request, tracks its deadline and keeps a traceable record so your team can respond on time and consistently. The decision on each response and the legal responsibility for compliance stay with your company. It is a management tool, not legal advice or a substitute for your privacy counsel.
It is free: 0 EUR, a one-time download with no subscription and no recurring fees. The full source code is included, and it runs on Odoo 17, 18 and 19. You download it from the Odoo App Store, install it in your own Odoo, and it is yours to use and adapt.
Yes. The module runs on both Odoo Community and Enterprise, versions 17, 18 and 19. It is a native module that adds its own screens inside your Odoo, so you do not need a separate SaaS platform or any external tool to use it.
Yes. There is a live demo, a real Odoo 19 with the module already installed and no sign-up (user demo, password flexigodemo), where you can create a test request, see deadline tracking per state and the full history of each request. When you are ready, you download it for free from the Odoo App Store, and we can help you set it up if you need it.
The question is whether you handle them with spreadsheets and email or resolve them inside Odoo, with deadlines and a trail. Tell us which states you operate in and we will tell you straight if the module fits.
