Cases scattered across folders and spreadsheets
Every matter ends up split between shared drives, email threads and a spreadsheet. Finding out where a case stands depends on who you ask, not on the system.
If your cases live in spreadsheets, scattered folders and signatures chased over email, this module brings legal matter management into Odoo: matters, documents, e-signatures, deadlines and per-client tracking in one system, without leaving the ERP you already run.

Try the legal matter module inside a real Odoo 19, no sign-up. User demo / flexigodemo.
This is not about a checklist of features. It is about the day-to-day mess that shows up when matters, documents and signatures are not where the client already is.
Every matter ends up split between shared drives, email threads and a spreadsheet. Finding out where a case stands depends on who you ask, not on the system.
The contract goes out for signature by email, comes back scanned, and nobody is sure which version is the final one or whether it is attached to the right client.
Key dates — renewals, filings, next steps — live in one person's head. The day that person is out, the deadline quietly slips.
A lightweight, honest module: it manages legal matters in Odoo and connects them to Odoo Sign for the signing part. It does not try to be a full practice-management suite; it just gets you to stop leaving the ERP for the basics.
Create each matter with its client, its owner, its type and its status. All the case information lives in a single Odoo record, linked to the partner (contact).
From the matter you can launch an Odoo Sign signature request and check its status. The signed document stays attached to the matter and the client, with no files copied by hand.
Attach contracts, filings and annexes straight to the matter. You reuse Odoo's native attachments and chatter, so every change keeps its own history and audit trail.
Record key dates and follow the progress of each matter. Filter by client to see, at a glance, every open matter and signature for that account.
It installs as a regular module inside your own Odoo — no external SaaS, no middleware, no parallel dashboard. Packaged for Odoo 17, 18 and 19, with the source code included so nothing is a black box.
Because it is native, client-sensitive matter data never leaves your instance for a third-party platform. You keep the same Odoo access rights, backups and hosting you already control.
Four steps, all inside Odoo — no new tool to log into, no data to re-key.
Install it for free from the Odoo App Store on your Odoo 17, 18 or 19. It is a standard module, so it goes in like any other app — no external account to create.
Create a matter, link it to an existing Odoo contact, set the type, the owner and the status. From that moment the whole case has one home in the ERP.
Attach contracts and filings to the matter and launch an Odoo Sign request right from the record. The signed copy comes back linked to the same matter and client.
Record key dates, follow each matter's progress and filter by client. Anyone on the team can see where a case stands without asking around.
The module is 0 € — free forever, not a trial that expires. You install it from the Odoo App Store, keep the source code (LGPL-3) and pay nothing per user, per matter or per month. It runs on Odoo 17, 18 and 19.
No monthly fee, no per-seat licence, no usage tier. You install it once and it stays yours.
You get the full source, so your own team or partner can read, audit and extend it. Nothing is locked behind a vendor black box.
Packaged and tested for the three current Odoo series, so you can install it on the version you already run and keep it as you upgrade.
The module is free. If you want help configuring it or adapting it to your workflow, you can hire that separately — and you deal directly with the developer.
FlexigoTech is a solo developer in Barcelona specialised in Odoo. This module is native Odoo: it installs inside your own instance — it is not an external platform with its own subscription or a parallel panel. When you write in with a question or an issue, you talk directly to the person who codes the module, not to a reseller or a generic first-line support desk.
It is a lightweight (lite) module to track legal matters in Odoo with signing via Odoo Sign. It is not law-firm software with time billing, trust accounting, advanced compliance or court-case management. If you already run Odoo and want to keep your matters, documents and signatures tidy without paying for yet another separate tool, it fits. If you need a full legal suite, we will tell you before you start.
We connect this page to the rest of the site so you can find the module, the contact or the custom development you actually need.
It is a way to keep your legal cases inside the ERP you already run. This module adds a matter record to Odoo linked to the client, so each case has its documents, e-signatures and deadlines in one place, instead of being spread across shared folders, spreadsheets and email threads.
No. It is a lightweight (lite) module to track legal matters inside Odoo, with Odoo Sign hooks. It is not a full practice-management suite with time billing, trust accounting or court-case workflows. If you already run Odoo and want your matters, documents and signatures in the same system without paying for another separate tool, it fits. If you need a complete legal suite, we will tell you up front.
The module links each matter to Odoo Sign signature requests. From the matter record you can launch a signature request and see its status, so the signed document stays attached to the correct client and matter with no duplicate records and no files copied by hand.
The signature hooks require Odoo Sign to be available on your instance. Matter management, documents, deadlines and per-client tracking work regardless; the electronic signature is simply the layer that connects to Odoo Sign.
The matter, document and deadline tracking is built on standard Odoo models, so the core works on Odoo Community. The Odoo Sign hooks depend on the Sign app, which is an Enterprise feature — so on Community you get matter management without the electronic-signature layer, and on Enterprise (or Odoo Online with Sign) you get the full Odoo Sign integration too.
Yes. There is a live demo — a real Odoo 19 with the legal matter module installed, no sign-up needed (user demo, password flexigodemo) — where you can create a matter, attach documents and see the Odoo Sign hooks. The module is free: once you are convinced, you install it for free from the Odoo App Store, and if you need it we help you configure it.
If you already use Odoo for clients and invoicing, bringing your matters and signatures into the same system is the next logical step. Tell us your case and we will tell you, straight, whether it fits.
